Now accepting applications and nominations for the next round of scholarships to be awarded in Fall 2024, with an application deadline of March 31, 2025.

Criteria for determining the scholarship awards will include:

• Applicant is age 22 or younger at time of application

• Place of residence in a northwest Indiana county: Lake, LaPorte, Newton, Jasper, or Porter

• Demonstrated commitment to musicianship and/or music production and improving one’s skills

• Personal essay by the applicant describing how the scholarship will make a difference in achieving their musical aspirations

• Letters of recommendation from adult mentors and teachers about the student’s musical promise

• Attestation by the applicant (or a parent/guardian, if a minor child) that their financial circumstances are such that the scholarship will make a material difference in their ability to pursue music-related instruction

Scholarship applicants will be asked to complete a formal application, found below, including a personal essay, and submit a video performance or production and at least 2 letters of recommendation from adult teachers and/or mentors
